No your first consultation is completely free and you have no obligation to sign an agreement with us. However at the end of the consultation we will ask you if you would like us to plan your wedding or event for you. Dianne will usually send you a email outlining the meeting - Lots of topics are covered and these can consultations can be a little overwhelming so the email will just reaffirm some of the key points covered. Even then if you decide to sign you stil have 14 days cooling off period and time to pay your deposit
The final decision is always yours. We will give you options and will talk with you often, however as you pay the bills the final decision is always yours. - Depending on the time frame we usually put everything in place over the first month or so and then it is just keep the details on the boil. Dianne will check with suppliers to ensure they are still around and have not double booked etc.
As soon as you can, wether you are getting married is a couple of weeks or married in a couple of years, arrange for a free consultation now and we will work with you from there. - Sometimes if it is over 12 months we will have a meeting with you and then book the venues and then you can relax a little and we slowly bring everything together.
The wedding industry standard is approx 250 hours to arrange the average wedding. This includes research, planning, booking and finalising everything. However if you do not have the experience this can be far greater and take up all you spare waking hours
The reason we started "I Do" everything was to assist everybody. We cater for all types of budgets and circumstances. We can arrange a wedding for you on a budget as low as $5000 plus our fees. At the end of your wedding people will think you overspent but only you and our planner will know better. - Budgets we do cover everything from The Bride and Grooms attire to the gifts for the attendants.
This is where we start. Once you book a free consultation, we will sit down with you and work out which direction you would like to go and once you sign an agreement with you we will then go through preparing a budget and work with you to ensure that the budget is kept under control.
We started in February 2007 with Dianne completing a wedding planning course. From this she was told not to expect any weddings for at least 12 months. It took 6 months to set up the business, get our website up and running but we completed our first wedding in November 2007. We attended a couple of Bridal fairs and began planning a few more weddings in February and March 2008. We continue to plan weddings as we speak and usually have one or 2 going at any one time. We do not double book, first in first serve for a date. So don't delay contact us NOW.
I live overseas and wish to get married in South East Queensland can you help?
Yes we can, infact a we arranged a complete wedding with both the Bride and Groom living in Asia and having the wedding here in Brisbane. This is possible by regular contact by SKYPE, email or phone hookup. We email photos, quotes etc so the decisions are still yours. We regularly keep in touch to keep you up to date with what is happing with the planning for your wedding.
I want to have something a little different can you help?
Yes we can. A couple wanted a special venue and we spent every weekend for 1 month before presenting them with a selection of venues. We have had to find a special wishing wells, special carpet etc. The impossible usually just takes a little longer but usually it is possible.
